Enter a Bulk Natural Mating Event (Heifers)

Pregnancy diagnosis results from third party protocols are only available for heifers that already hold a breeding event in AfiFarm. Entering one Natural Mating event across the whole heifer group lets those results import on the next integration.

To enter a bulk natural mating event:

1. In AfiFarm, in Animal Inventory, click Heifers.

   

2. Click Open to display the list of animals in the group.

3. Hold down SHIFT and click the first and last animal in the list. The whole list is highlighted pink.

4. Right-click and select Data Entry. Select Natural Mating from the Fertility folder and click Add.

   

5. In the Natural Mating dialog, enter the Insem. Date. The field defaults to today's date if it is not changed. Click Save.

6. Run the third party protocols integration to import the pregnancy diagnoses.
